"I'll Be Back"
There were two food goals in my Bucket List. The first, was to try 12 NEW places in 2025. The second, was to visit 52 different places during the year. I realized that if I found a great place, that I'll Be Back to visit again. This is the end of the fourth month today, and I have been to four NEW restaurants. I already mentioned the first two in a previous post, here are the next two.
Ellie Mae's Tiki Bar
I only recently found out about this place because I saw a post on Facebook by my friend Judy Bushey (she was a Foote back in HS) who lives in Cocoa Beach. This is in the next town North, Cape Canaveral. Where the rockets take off from.
They have both a large indoor bar and dining area and a Tike Bar out back. Funny, but I recognized the lady on the right, she use to be a bartender at the Samd Bar in Cocoa Beach.

My Reuben came with a bag of chips and a choice of one side. I got the Cole Claw and it was excellent. So was the sandwich. I give the place a 3.5 (Great to Excellent) and I plan to visit again. It was 79 out with a cool breeze coming off the ocean. I was in Heaven.
I asked where Jed Clampet was but they said the place was named after one of the owner's dogs.
Ford's Garage
The other new place I visited in March was a place that is always crowded. I finally found a mid-week lunch time that there were parking spaces. I asked to sit at the bar and they placed me in the garage. Even the servers wear garage shirts with their name sewn in.
Even the door handles were gas pumps.
All I can say about these two places: I'll Be Back.
52 Different Places
There have been 24 places so far in 2025, on pace to visit 72 by Dec 31. It will get harder as the year goes on. The purple ones are the NEW places...
About Title
"I'll Be Back" is a song written by John Lennon, with some collaboration from Paul McCartney (credited to Lennon–McCartney). It was recorded by the English rock band the Beatles for the soundtrack album to their film A Hard Day's Night (1964) but not used in the film. This song was not released in North America until Beatles '65, five months later.
Thanks for the reviews BJ… ~Jose
