"I Feel Fine"
I ended up reading 39 books in 2024 and I Feel Fine!
Here are the last three books I read...
Hyperion (#37)
Written by Dan Simmons; Published in 1989
I checked to see what the next book in the series was since this book ended at what was obviously another story to tell. I found there is a Hyperion Cantos Series which includes four Primary works and 26 different books that are offshoots. Good to know.
The Goldfinch (#38)
Written by Donna Tartt; Published in 2013; Pulitzer Prize winner for 2014
This became book #75 from my bucket list. My second book I've read by this author, this one a Pulitzer Prize winner. The book is a wonderful read, I like the story and the author had great imagery. It is pretty sad in lots of ways but does make you think about choices we make in life. I give the book a 4.0 (Excellent). The other book I read by her was The Secret History which takes place at a small college in Vermont. She went to Bennington College.
Framed: Astonishing True Stories of Wrongful Convictions (#39)
Written by John Grisham & Jim McCloskey; Published in 2024
This is a Non-fiction book that contains ten true stories of Innocent people being Framed and sent to prison. It was hard to read because of the blatant railroading these people went through. I give the book a 2.5 (Good to Great). The last story seemed familiar and I realized I had read it in a non-fiction book by David Grann. This was the 13th book I have read by Grisham.

About Title
"I Feel Fine" is a song by the English rock band the Beatles that was released in November 1964 as the A-side of their eighth single. It was written by John Lennon and credited to the Lennon–McCartney partnership. The recording includes one of the earliest uses of guitar feedback in popular music.
The single topped charts in the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada, Ireland, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway and Sweden. In the UK, it was the fifth-highest-selling single of the 1960s.
BJ Note: It is one of my favorites from the early Beatles.
