"Something" (aka Digital Hoarding X)

I wanted to keep my streak of using Beatles song titles for my post, so I figured the digital hoarding post includes a little bit of Something.

Hard to believe I am at 10 posts about my crazy collection of personal and shared photos, cartoons and just crazy stuff from the Internet.

Signs

I almost included this one in my Personal section since my niece Lori was born in Hawaii, and my sister Pat lived there for more than 20 years.

No comment on this next one, but I laughed...

The beach behind my favorite hangout Lou's Blues is a dog beach. I have not heard this dog name yet...

Too funny, it just hits home!

I know people that could do this...

This is why I retired, every day is a weekend.

I find this logical...

Not to make fun of death but it is going to happen, may as well enjoy the fire.

Although I cannot drink this much anymore, I remember when it was true...

Personal

Here are some photos, graphics and an article that are personal to me.

The first shot was sent to me by Nancy when she was in Japan last year; the Vampire Café.

On my National Geographic Expedition one of the photographers I met was Jeff Litton. He takes some wonderful photos and shares them on Facebook. This was one of the Northern Lights.

I was doing some research on the big fire in Middlebury in the 1800s. This is one I grabbed of the reconstruction of Battell Bridge in the heart of Middlebury Vermont, my hometown.

Another by Jeff Litton; taken in Alaska. He still cruises with Nat Geo.

Frigates is a local restaurant that I periodically visit...Lobster Roll

Hey, that's me! Taken at Lou's Blues by my cousin Jon Carey, lower right.

Some of the flooding in Vermont last summer was devastating. This was a back road...

In 2022, Hurricane Ian was a deadly and extremely destructive Category 5 Atlantic hurricane, which was the third-costliest weather disaster on record worldwide and the deadliest hurricane to strike the state of Florida since the 1935 Labor Day hurricane. It passed over Melbourne (and my home) as it entered the Atlantic.

Brightline goes through Brevard county where I live, with no stops currently. Six people have been killed by the train since it started running in September of last year.

Funny but true...

Kismet was a restaurant I use to go to with my parents...sorry the print is so small. If you want to read it I can send you a copy...

Another map and memory of times with my parents. We went to Expo '67 eight times (I think), I was only 10 years old so probably could not count yet.

Photos

LMAO

Not sure if real...(Ha ha)

The lady complained that they wrote Bitch on her sandwich,  forgetting she had ordered a BLT with Cheese.

In Xmas 2022, I bought some Lindor Chocolates to give out. These were the White Peppermint.

Cartoons

Enjoy! (I guess this shows my sick sense of humor)

Misc

I have been playing around with easy charts to explain a Novel or Movie. This was an example I found online that I liked but I am not artistic enough to draw. I love the concept...

About the post title:

"Something" is a song by the English rock band the Beatles from their eleventh studio album Abbey Road (1969). It was written by George Harrison, the band's lead guitarist. Together with his second contribution to Abbey Road, "Here Comes the Sun", it is widely viewed by music historians as having marked Harrison's ascendancy as a composer to the level of the Beatles' principal songwriters, John Lennon and Paul McCartney.
